Origins Mission Statement:

To provide an experience that enriches the lives of our performers through education, inclusion, care, and creativity.

Origins Performing Arts, is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Youth Performance Arts Organization founded in 2017 with the goal of providing the performers of Central Texas and beyond a place to participate in the pageantry arts at the highest levels. Since our inception, we have served as a home for over 200 performers. In 2018 and 2019, we produced emotional and thought-provoking productions that earned Origins a top-five finalist finish in both seasons. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our 2020 season was cut short. After taking the necessary time to regroup, we made the decision to field two performing ensembles in 2021. That season, our second ensemble was promoted from the Independent A classification to Independent Open and was named a WGI Virtual Independent Open Class Finalist.

In 2022, we decided to self-promote Origins to the Independent World classification—the highest level of competition in our activity. Once again, we fielded two performing ensembles, and for the first time in our history, Origins was named a WGI Independent World Class Finalist. In 2023, both ensembles reached new heights, finishing higher in their respective classifications than ever before. In 2024, grounded in our mission, we decided to start a third performing ensemble - Origins A. All three ensembles earned multiple distinctions throughout the season, and our top ensemble earned its highest placement in the Independent World class since self promoting 2 years prior.
